Krystals is a family-run, independent, corrugated, and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer with over 20 years of experience.  They came to us to source some used vehicles for a new contract they had won. Unfortunately, we were unable to find them the vehicles they wanted on this occasion. This didn’t stop us from being able to help them, because buying a used truck is only the start of the journey.

When Neil, from Krystals, called us up, we wanted to do everything we could to support him with getting his vehicles ready and on the road. The customer sourced the vehicles from another supplier but brought them into our yard to get them ready for their work which would take them into London.

When Krystals dropped 4 tractor units off in our yard, they needed the following work doing.

  • Fridge installation
  • Direct Vision System installation
  • MOT – 1 of the vehicles needed an MOT
  • Livery

 

Due to our connections here at Alltruck, we are fully equipped to handle all these requests here on site and we were able to get these vehicles turned around quickly. Our HGV workshop ordered and installed the fridges and carried out any defect rectification that the vehicles required. They also prepped one of the vehicles for MOT and sent it down to our very own ATF testing lane in Loughborough. Then, we arranged for the DVS cameras to be fitted on-site at our Nottingham Depot. Once all this work was complete and the vehicles were ready to go, our own team of drivers delivered these vehicles to the customers’ existing sign writers for the livery to be applied.

From start to finish, Neil has said that everything ran like clockwork. He and his team were in a difficult situation, and Alltruck managed to solve his problems by being a One-stop Shop that could work within his timeline. Neil has said that his experience has been excellent and that he couldn’t have asked for anything to be better.
